Geography Afficionado is a geography trivia game, created by Crispy Bacon Games, that''s designed to provide the player with rich information in the field of geography. It consists of 201 generally interesting questions about our planet.
The game can be played in three different modes described below. After a question is answered, the player can press a button to go to a web page with more information about the answer.
Standard: Answer each of 20 questions. 3 points for correct answer, -1 for "I don''t know", -3 for wrong answer.
Sprint: Answer as many questions possible to get the most points within 2 minutes. 3 points for correct answer, -1 for "I don''t know", -3 for wrong answer.
Perpetual: You have 3 lives and every time you answer wrong you lose a life. If you answer wrong with no lives left, the game ends. 1 Point for correct answer.
Example questions:
What is the only country in South America with English as its official language?
What is the tallest waterfall?
What is the highest tsunami ever recorded?
